Readdressing some of the unique boating truths, the availability of ideal weather conditions often dictates when certain projects are tackled, and the preparation of the transom for the new name is a fine example of this.
Below are photos of the work performed during the most recent favorable window. Temperatures were in the near 70 degree range and the lack of rain allowed sanding, prepping, and painting of the transom as well as beginning work on the aft cabin hatch.
I still have a good bit of work to do to complete the hatch installation properly. Thankfully we only have two of these on board.
All work aside, the beauty of the area makes for some very rewarding mornings and evenings. To me, Mother Nature is God, and God is indeed great!
